Are the elevator wire ropes durable?

Yes. The wire rope configuration considers not just the rated load but also the traction size. The tensile strength of the wire rope is significantly greater than the weight of the lift, and the safety factor is equipped with more than four wire ropes for redundancy.

Is a sudden power failure dangerous during operation?

No. If a power failure occurs, the elevator will automatically stop due to the electrical and mechanical safety devices. The brakes are automatically applied to ensure passenger safety.

Will passengers be hurt if the door closes suddenly?

No. Elevators are equipped with anti-clamping switches. If a person touches the door during closing, it will automatically restart or reopen. The closing force is also strictly regulated.

How does the elevator system operate?

Elevators are operated via a counterweight wire rope through a traction drive (tractor), which moves the cabin up and down along fixed guide rails.
